Senior Medical Affairs Specialist – FTC

📋 Description

• Manage external communications, including inquiries related to medical information and promotional materials, ensuring both medical and scientific accuracy as well as adherence to regulatory standards.

• Create training and educational products and programs tailored for internal and external audiences, including professional and end-users.

• Contribute to evidence generation plans that support innovation, expansion of claims and indications, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Articulate the clinical benefits of Insulet’s diabetes products to external stakeholders.

• Evaluate evidence concerning diabetes therapies, standards of care, and technologies to guide product development and commercial strategies.

• Ensure the successful execution of both corporate-sponsored and investigator-initiated research studies.

• Uphold clinical quality standards and align initiatives with current best practices.

• Plan and execute strategies for participation in international, national, and local scientific conferences.

• Support Insulet Corporation’s mission to enhance the lives of individuals with diabetes through its Omnipod medical device platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a health-related field and/or relevant healthcare credentials (RN, RD, etc.).

• At least 2 years of pertinent experience in a clinical, industry, or research environment.

• A clinical or scientific background related to diabetes disease states and devices is preferred.

• Experience in Medical Information, Clinical Research, Medical Science, or Medical Education departments is desirable.

• Ability to analyze clinical evidence and effectively communicate key points to diverse audiences.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong collaborative skills and ability to work across cultures.

• Capability to work proactively, independently, and reliably.

• Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

• Proven track record of strong clinical practice in both industry and non-industry contexts.

• Familiarity with regulatory and healthcare compliance guidelines and policies.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Products, and medical communication tools.

• High ethical standards in interactions with healthcare professionals, payers, and industry representatives.
