Senior Material Change and Tool Development Specialist – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and responsibility for the execution and review of Material Change activities, along with post-Maextro tasks.

• Design and oversee reporting, automation, and tracking processes within the Configuration Management Group, utilizing AI for automation development.

• Serve as the lead for Material Master execution related to Configuration Management activities.

• Assign and supervise tasks effectively.

• Implement Engineering Change Requests (ECR) in S4 Hana, which includes updates to MM Basic Data, Form-Fit-Function Class updates, DIR creation and updates, and collaboration with various functions for catalog and fabricated part releases in S4 Hana.

• Facilitate the creation of Finished Goods through Maextro, a material master management application.

• Collaborate with the Data Team on enhancement projects for Maextro.

• Participate in daily ECR status update meetings to assign actions.

• Lead the development of new tools while improving or troubleshooting existing Configuration Management tools.

• Create and maintain tracking systems.

• Develop and manage SharePoint pages.

• Establish reporting metrics and create PowerBI reports.

• Build automation solutions utilizing Power Automate, Power Apps, and AI.

• Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by the Configuration Management Manager.


⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in a related field is required.

• Experience in tool development leveraging AI is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with business users, process owners, IT teams, and other functional stakeholders.

• Capability to convert business requirements and process concepts into functional application designs, workflows, data structures, and automation logic.

• Practical experience with Power Apps and Power Automate for creating applications, workflows, approvals, and notifications.

• Familiarity with SharePoint Lists and Libraries is necessary.

• Ability to create dashboards, reports, KPIs, and management-level visualizations using PowerBI.

• Strong proficiency in Excel, including formulas, tables, data transformation, and Power Query.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar or related role.
