This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct the engagement strategy for U.S. Neurology opinion leaders and peer-to-peer initiatives in the areas of gMG and NMOSD.
• Transform franchise and indication priorities into a cohesive external engagement framework.
• Take ownership of opinion leader (OL) mapping, segmentation, engagement planning, and success metrics.
• Manage annual and in-year peer-to-peer (P2P) and OL engagement planning, including geographic deployment, investment allocation, and contingency strategies.
• Lead the UPLIZNA Speaker Bureau strategy, overseeing design, execution, recruitment, onboarding, activation, and optimization.
• Create and implement marketing-driven healthcare professional (HCP) education and P2P programs, such as speaker programs, Peer Discussion Groups, ITUs, and various customer education opportunities.
• Oversee the training and development of speakers, including curriculum design, content readiness, faculty preparation, and capability enhancement.
• Collaborate with Sales Training and field leadership to enhance field readiness and ensure program implementation.
• Manage marketing-led OL engagement at congresses, including ITUs, symposia, product theaters, and speaker/faculty activities.
• Coordinate crucial OL engagements for medical marketing leaders and cross-functional partners before and during congresses, ensuring proper follow-up.
• Develop and oversee P2P materials, including speaker decks, disease-state resources, case studies, and program tools.
• Supervise agency development, MAC review, approval processes, rollout, and updates.
• Manage P2P and OL engagement budgets, external vendors, and agencies.
• Define and track performance metrics, analyze feedback and program data, and suggest enhancements.
• Contribute to brand planning, long-term strategies, quarterly priorities, and tactical plans.
• Represent OL Engagement and P2P Medical Marketing in franchise forums, communicating performance and insights to senior leadership.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members responsible for P2P execution and associated Medical Marketing initiatives.
• Cultivate a culture of scientific curiosity, customer focus, accountability, collaboration, innovation, and high execution standards.
• Doctorate degree with 2 years of relevant marketing and/or business experience in a Marketing/Sales commercial role; OR Master’s degree with 4 years of experience; OR Bachelor’s degree with 6 years; OR Associate’s degree with 10 years; OR High school diploma / GED with 12 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience in direct people management, including coaching and talent development, setting priorities, and leading through change.
• Strong expertise in Medical Marketing, OL engagement, and P2P strategies, encompassing OL mapping, engagement planning, Speaker Bureau operations, speaker training, marketing-driven HCP education, promotional content creation, and multichannel education.
• Experience in leading end-to-end P2P and marketing-led OL/HCP engagements, including congress-based programs, speaker strategy, faculty management, program design, agency/vendor management, budget oversight, performance optimization, and MAC review using systems like Veeva PromoMats.
• Preferred experience in neurology.
• Preferred experience in rare disease and product launches or in-line brand management.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, operational rigor, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to lead through influence and deliver results across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
