Senior Manager, Wealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Create and enhance a unique High-Net-Worth (HNW) Wealth Strategy for the Asia Pacific region that aligns with Allianz Group's global objectives.

• Track market trends, competitor actions, and regulatory changes.

• Identify opportunities for growth and convert market insights into strategic initiatives.

• Lead the design and development of the HNW product portfolio.

• Ensure the quality of products and services across different markets.

• Work in collaboration with underwriting and reinsurance teams on risk appetite and pricing strategies.

• Establish and lead cross-functional cooperation among product, distribution, underwriting, reinsurance, operations, and compliance teams.

• Manage relationships with external distribution partners, reinsurers, and service providers.

• Collaborate with regional distribution to enhance sales performance and market reach.

• Provide advice and thought leadership on HNW Wealth issues throughout the region.

• Engage and influence C-suite executives and senior leaders at partner organizations.

• Promote innovation, agility, and a client-focused approach within the Wealth function.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline.

• Over 10 years of progressive experience within the HNW/Wealth segment in the life insurance or wealth management sectors.

• In-depth understanding of HNW customer requirements, distribution ecosystems (bancassurance, brokers, IFAs), and product frameworks (universal life, whole life, investment-linked, legacy planning).

• Proven success in developing and implementing Wealth strategies in Asia Pacific markets.

• Strong commercial insight with experience in P&L management or revenue responsibility.

• Exceptional relationship management abilities, capable of engaging, influencing, and navigating complex discussions with distribution partners and C-suite executives across varied markets.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

• Strategic mindset with the ability to convert vision into actionable plans.

• Hands-on, entrepreneurial approach with a preference for action, creativity, and initiative.

• Strong analytical capabilities, including proficiency in AI tools, Copilot, and ChatGPT, and comfort with data analysis.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, matrixed, and multicultural setting.

• An advanced degree (MBA, Master's) or professional certifications (e.g., CFP, ChFC, FLMI) is preferred.

• Proficiency in an additional Asian language is advantageous.
