Senior Manager, Valuation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the quarterly valuation process for private equity investments by collaborating closely with investment professionals, external valuation firms, and internal stakeholders.

• Conduct thorough reviews of internal models to ensure they align with valuation policies and standards.

• Engage in the quarterly Private Equity valuation process, including interactions with senior executives.

• Develop presentation materials for both internal and external meetings.

• Offer technical guidance on intricate valuation topics.

• Contribute to the formulation of valuation policies and procedures, suggesting improvements in accordance with industry best practices.

• Execute performance metrics analysis, such as IRR, MOIC, and various portfolio assessments.

• Collaborate with the Investor Relations team on investor reporting and marketing materials related to valuation.

• Participate in process and technology initiatives aimed at enhancing valuation and performance reporting efficiency.

• Assist Vista’s valuation function for private equity investments by managing and coordinating quarterly and monthly valuations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) or a Master's degree (MS or MBA) in Finance or Accounting.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in valuation-related roles.

• CFA and/or CPA credentials are preferred but not mandatory.

• Prior experience in a managerial capacity, including team leadership, development, and resource allocation.

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities, with strong presentation skills.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to work effectively within a team and across the organization.

• High integrity and the capacity to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.

• Strong organizational capabilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
