Senior Manager – Workday Technology Consulting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop a comprehensive post-production lifecycle for client Workday solutions, encompassing incident and system request management in ServiceNow, release guidance for biannual Workday upgrades, and ongoing enhancements.

• Provide daily oversight of Workday technical teams across areas such as Extend, Security, Reporting, and Integrations.

• Act as a liaison between HCM, Finance, and Payroll production managers and business leaders.

• Suggest enhancements for clients’ ServiceNow platforms related to prioritization, issue resolution, release planning, and system administration.

• Offer best practice guidance on Workday integrations and reporting.

• Define and manage Workday product roadmaps that align with enterprise business transformation objectives.

• Collaborate with HCM, Finance, and Payroll teams to implement enhancements and fixes, adhering to rigorous documentation and process standards.

• Supervise Workday security models, internal controls, and audit requirements.

• Manage Workday tenant administration and stakeholder communications.

• Assist in establishing proactive monitoring and issue recovery procedures for platform performance, integration health, and data integrity.

• Mentor and supervise Attain Partners employees.

• Aid in proposal writing and business development initiatives.

• Contribute to the development of internal methodologies, repeatable approaches, assets, and templates.

• Generate thought leadership based on professional experience, active client engagements, and involvement in the Workday ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of hands-on experience in various Workday technical domains such as integrations, reporting, security, and tenant management, either as a Workday customer or systems implementer.

• More than 5 years leading Workday technical workstreams across multiple disciplines such as integrations, reporting, security, and system administration, as a Workday customer, implementer, or contractor.

• Proven experience in defining and managing agile release management processes, including backlog management, roadmap definition, prioritization, sprint planning, and change control.

• Extensive knowledge of Workday Finance and HCM functional solutions, current Workday technical capabilities, and the Workday ecosystem.

• Certification as a Workday customer or implementer in one or more technical areas, such as Studio, Orchestrate, Extend, Reporting, or Security.

• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to distill complex information into clear recommendations.

• Capability to lead client engagements both independently and collaboratively.

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• Proven ability to cultivate trusted advisor relationships with clients.

• Experience in supporting sales and business development efforts.

• Willingness to travel periodically based on business and client needs.

• Prior experience as a management or technology consultant in a recognized professional services organization.

• Preferred experience working with mission-driven sectors such as higher education, nonprofit, and state and local government.

• Preferred experience in business development efforts, including proposal writing and sourcing new business for existing clients.
