Senior Manager, Supply Planning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, design, and implement strategies for clinical supplies in clinical trials.

• Supervise the labeling, packaging, release, distribution, and returns of clinical supplies at external Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs).

• Oversee budgets and ensure timely project delivery.

• Create and manage clinical forecast plans and budgets across multiple programs and study levels.

• Formulate global supply strategies and plans for clinical studies.

• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, and external vendors.

• Assist with new site onboarding and manage the forecasting and distribution of co-therapy drugs in the US and internationally.

• Oversee clinical trial supply, Investigational Medicinal Product (IMP) production, inventory, and global distribution to guarantee an uninterrupted supply.

• Manage the development of labels from master label text to printing.

• Implement scheduling software for clinical trials and future commercial needs, including chain of custody, identification, real-time scheduling, and tracking.

• Oversee the development, review, and User Acceptance Testing of the Interactive Response Technology system.

• Review manuals and documentation with the Clinical Operations team.

• Represent Supply Planning during clinical trial team meetings and communicate plans and timelines effectively.

• Collaborate with leaders from CMC, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, and Quality Assurance.

• Present recommendations to Senior Technical Operations, Clinical, and Commercial leadership.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• 5+ years of experience in a related supply chain/planning/operations position.

• Prior experience in planning for time-sensitive and temperature-sensitive products is preferred.

• Proficiency in working with multiple databases and electronic systems.

• Experience with Oracle/ERP, courier services, and material ordering portals is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• High attention to detail.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including presentation abilities and the capacity to influence at all organizational levels, including executives.

• Experience in writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Advanced qualitative and quantitative analytical competencies.

• Strong business acumen with strategic and analytical thinking, including financial analysis.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality work on time.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

• Capability to sit for extended periods in front of a computer.
