Senior Manager, Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead project initiatives that support strategic goals at US Foods.

• Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities.

• Analyze data to produce both qualitative and quantitative insights.

• Formulate clear, concise, and fact-based recommendations.

• Take ownership of project deliverables, timelines, and criteria for success.

• Collaborate with internal analytics teams, business stakeholders, and Strategy leadership.

• Prepare executive-level written documents and present them to senior audiences.

• Establish training programs, standard operating procedures, and tracking systems for field execution.

• Work alongside Strategy team members to support both consistent and ad-hoc project requirements.

• Oversee a team of up to 2 Senior Analysts.

• Engage with external customers and vendors when necessary.

• Execute other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of proven experience in analytical positions.

• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and technical aptitude.

• Experience in data gathering and analysis, demonstrating high attention to detail and accuracy, completeness, responsiveness, and accountability.

• A demonstrated drive to build consensus, lead workstreams, and advance progress on assigned projects.

• Clear and concise communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.

• Proficient in written and oral presentations, including comfort in presenting to senior management.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Familiarity with data analysis and statistical inference.

• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.

• A Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Employment must be conducted from within the United States, excluding Hawaii and U.S. territories.
