Senior Manager, Strategic Events – Experiences

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Vetcove’s significant events from inception to completion, managing event strategy, planning, execution, and guest departures.

• Facilitate key customer and executive gatherings, annual retreats, and team offsites, accommodating groups from intimate meetings to over 200 attendees.

• Develop comprehensive event plans that encompass venues, programming, hospitality, travel, production, staffing, budgets, logistics, and attendee experience.

• Identify and secure hotels, venues, restaurants, speakers, and partners; foster relationships and negotiate agreements.

• Manage timelines, budgets, and decision-making processes across both internal teams and external partners.

• Proactively anticipate and resolve logistical challenges and urgent issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience managing intricate, high-touch events from beginning to end.

• Background in corporate events, executive gatherings, customer conferences, retreats, weddings, or similarly ambitious live experiences.

• Proven track record of independently leading complex, multi-day events.

• Capability to juggle numerous decisions, dependencies, vendors, and logistics concurrently.

• Proficient in sourcing and negotiating with hotels, venues, restaurants, speakers, and partners.

• Outstanding hospitality instincts and a refined sense of taste.

• Exceptional resourcefulness and composure under pressure.

• A four-year degree is requested in the application process.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of application.

• Must not require visa sponsorship for employment.

• Successful completion of a background check is required.
