This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Set and execute priorities, manage team performance, share knowledge, and cultivate talent through hiring, training, constructive feedback, and challenging opportunities.

• Direct monthly statutory closing activities for derivative investments.
• Oversee the preparation and review of statutory reporting schedules, disclosures, and related analyses to comply with NAIC and regulatory standards.
• Manage statutory hedge accounting processes, including documentation, reporting obligations, and accounting treatment for designated hedging relationships.
• Supervise accounting professionals by assigning tasks, monitoring their performance, offering technical assistance, and fostering employee growth.
• Review intricate accounting entries, reconciliations, and reporting outputs; investigate, address, and document any issues.
• Provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders on statutory accounting standards, reporting necessities, and the accounting implications of derivative transactions.
• Drive process enhancements and project initiatives to boost efficiency, accuracy, controls, and the quality of reporting.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and SOX controls while maintaining documentation that is audit-ready.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Middle Office, Reinsurance, Accounting Policy, and Financial Reporting teams.
• Assist in system implementations, testing initiatives, and process adaptations by coordinating efforts, validating outcomes, and addressing business needs and controls.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in derivative accounting, finance, or related functions with specific responsibilities pertinent to this role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
