
Senior Manager, Software Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and direct multiple software engineering teams, establishing objectives and priorities that align with both departmental and organizational goals.
• Develop and implement departmental strategies, including resource management, budgeting, and the adoption of new technologies.
• Collaborate with department leaders and executives to ensure software initiatives are in sync with the overall company strategy.
• Promote innovation and technical excellence within the software engineering division.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to software managers and leaders.
• Supervise complex software projects, track progress, and address any challenges that arise.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
• Participate in recruitment and onboarding processes, assess performance goals, and assist in attracting and retaining top talent.
• Create risk mitigation strategies and ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal policies.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of professional experience and training.
• At least 8 years of experience in software development.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and leading software teams.
• Strong skills in strategic planning and project management.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. is required.
• Unable to sponsor or transfer sponsorship for an employment visa, including CPT/OPT.
• Must have reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection and a home workspace that minimizes disruptions.
• Fiber, cable, or DSL internet service is necessary.
• May be required to work in the office if the home work environment or internet connection does not meet requirements.
