This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of Skylo's social strategy, encompassing content themes, rationale, tone, and exclusions.
• Manage LinkedIn as the primary platform for media, analysts, and the direct-to-device connectivity sector.
• Establish X as a corporate account.
• Enhance the social presence of executives and spokespeople.
• Provide insights on engagement quality and audience demographics.
• Oversee daily execution by social agency partners, including briefing, reviewing, and holding them accountable for results.
• Determine which content is ready for publication under the Skylo brand.
• Ensure agency work aligns with Skylo's messaging framework across various markets and time zones.
• Transform corporate narratives into blog posts, video scripts, and event materials.
• Create content focused on people and culture for senior candidates.
• Lead employee advocacy efforts and collaborate with the talent team for recruitment support.
• Develop an employee-generated content engine by gathering stories and technical insights.
• Interview engineers, product leads, and partner teams to convert technical content into understandable narratives.
• Collaborate with the brand designer and team to manage website messaging copy.
• Generate content for flagship events, announcements, and product launches, including on-site capture and repurposing.
• Work with the PR agency to translate reporting into content and channel strategies.
• Manage Skylo's AI answer engine and enhance search discoverability, including site copy, bylines, and third-party placements.
• Ensure consistent facts across all scraped sources.
• 5-7 years of experience in social and content marketing, brand communications, or editorial roles.
• Significant experience in B2B technology, infrastructure, or another technically demanding field.
• Extensive expertise in B2B social media, particularly on LinkedIn.
• Proven experience in building a corporate social presence that attracts industry insiders.
• Background in briefing and managing agencies or external creative teams.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills across social media posts, website content, and technical blogs.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear and credible narratives, demonstrated by published work.
• Capacity to work at the pace and scope typical of a startup environment.
• Proficiency with social media management, analytics, and AI-assisted content tools.
• Experience in satellite, telecom, wireless, IoT, or semiconductor industries is advantageous.
• Familiarity with working alongside a PR agency is beneficial.
• Experience marketing to enterprise and partner buyers in addition to consumer-adjacent audiences is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI and LLM discoverability is a bonus.
• Background in video and multimedia creation is a plus.
• Design fluency is considered an asset.
• Previous contract or fractional work at an early-stage or scaling company is advantageous.
• Experience managing a flagship trade show cycle is a plus.
