This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Lead and mentor a regional team of field sales representatives.
• Provide training and development to the sales team to achieve optimal sales performance.
• Implement national and regional strategies for the team’s existing and growing portfolio.
• Instruct the sales team on utilizing syndicated data and offer business insights along with actionable plans for operator clients.
• Activate financial strategies such as pricing adjustments.
• Oversee sales representatives while guiding work through others.
• Set and accomplish targets by managing cost drivers while balancing volume and profit objectives.
• Create consultative, fact-based sales proposals and presentations.
• Formulate business plans to foster profitable, value-added growth and strengthen customer relationships.
• Use sales data to develop scorecards with business partners.
• Track and document customer and sales activities in the designated sales system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams at Lamb Weston to achieve the sales objectives.
• Evaluate sales metrics and coach the team on best practices and areas for improvement.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales forecasting efforts.
• Guide the team to respond to customer feedback and generate ideas for new features or products.
• Organize and engage in manager onboarding, sales training, and team development activities.
• Build cross-functional partnerships and create a long-term strategic vision.
• Implement Lamb Weston strategies, initiatives, and programs with customers.
• Work closely with customers to formulate and execute business plans.
• Negotiate to achieve business objectives while preserving positive relationships.
• Preferred bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Over 5 years of sales experience.
• Management experience is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.com.
• Experience with sales tools such as Tibersoft, PROs, and DOMO.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
• Strong business management acumen, including financial management skills.
• Strategic thinking capability.
• Willingness to travel independently.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Ability to meet company driving standards.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including local and overnight travel.
