This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a senior subject matter expert in Retirement Plan Consulting.

• Offer technical and regulatory advice for qualified retirement plans.

• Deliver fiduciary training and consulting on plan design and benchmarking.

• Assist with industry thought leadership, client onboarding, IRS correction programs, and various consulting projects.

• Provide ERISA expertise and technical assistance to Financial Advisors and clients.

• Aid in plan design through cost and impact analysis, benchmarking, and peer-to-peer reviews.

• Present intricate and technical information to audiences at all levels.

• Keep both internal and external stakeholders informed about regulatory developments.

• Conduct fiduciary training sessions for plan committees.

• Develop and refresh content for the Retirement Plan Consulting intranet, SharePoint, and deliverable templates.

• Maintain partnerships with plan auditors, ERISA counsel, and actuarial service providers.

• Participate in strategic projects at both team and firm levels.


⛳️ Requirements

• A four-year college degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 12 years of pertinent experience in the retirement industry.

• Familiarity with ERISA guidelines and regulations.

• Experience with defined contribution plans, particularly 401(k) and 403(b) plans.

• Background in retirement plan administration or compliance with a recordkeeper or TPA.

• Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.

• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

• Detail-oriented with a strong inclination for problem-solving.

• Industry-related certifications and designations such as QPA, QKA, or CEBS are preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Ability to cultivate successful, collaborative, and trusting relationships.

• Skill in crafting accurate, concise, respectful, and comprehensible communications that convey complex information.

• A pronounced sense of urgency in completing tasks and resolving issues.

• A commitment to service, integrity, objectivity, and community involvement.
