Senior Manager, Retirement Plan Consulting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a senior subject matter expert in Retirement Plan Consulting

• Offer technical and regulatory advice for qualified retirement plans

• Deliver fiduciary training and present modules to plan committees

• Provide consulting on plan design, benchmarking, cost and impact analysis, and peer reviews

• Share industry insights and support for prospects

• Assist with client onboarding, IRS correction programs, and various consulting projects

• Offer ERISA expertise and technical guidance to Financial Advisors and clients

• Communicate complex and technical information to diverse audiences

• Keep both internal and external stakeholders informed about regulatory updates

• Develop and maintain content for Retirement Plan Consulting intranet, SharePoint, and deliverable templates

• Foster relationships with plan auditors, ERISA legal counsel, and actuarial service providers

• Contribute to strategic projects at the team and firm level

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of a four-year degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting preferred, or equivalent experience

• 12 years of pertinent experience in the retirement industry

• Familiarity with ERISA guidelines and regulations

• Experience with defined contribution plans, particularly 401(k) and 403(b) plans

• Background in retirement plan administration or compliance with a recordkeeper or TPA

• Excellent organizational and project management abilities

• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

• Detail-oriented with a strong inclination for problem-solving

• Industry-related certifications and designations such as QPA, QKA, and CEBS are preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
