This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Manage, assess, and enhance Patient Access Services departments across all regions.
• Ensure a stable and highly skilled Patient Access Services and Pre-Service teams throughout the organization.
• Supervise process improvement initiatives.
• Lead enhancements and upgrades for Epic systems.
• Oversee training and educational programs.
• Analyze and interpret relevant data.
• Manage teams and contribute to strategic planning and evaluation.
• Support human resources management.
• Standardize complex and varied practices while upholding common processes.
• Optimize workflow processes linked to intricate computer systems.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management, Public Health, or a related field.
• 8 or more years of experience in Patient Access Services or Revenue Cycle departments.
• 10 or more years of experience within a large healthcare delivery system.
• 6 or more years in a management role.
• Proficiency in all aspects of Revenue Cycle, including registration, scheduling, front desk check-in processes, authorizations, denials, and insurance billing.
• Ability to evaluate issues and trends from both creative and systemic viewpoints.
• Familiarity with legal and compliance requirements, such as Joint Commission, EMTALA, HIPAA, and CMS.
• Experience with Revenue Cycle computer systems and IT solutions, including registration/scheduling systems, automated eligibility solutions, computerized training delivery systems, payment processing systems, scanning solutions, and third-party vendors.
• Skill in developing training materials tailored for various learning styles.
• Experience in standardizing complex and diverse practices while maintaining common processes.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodology, change management, and operational enhancement in complex systems.
• Experience in optimizing workflow processes associated with complex computer systems.
• Epic Healthcare Systems experience is preferred.
