Senior Manager, Procurement Excellence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Establish, implement, and communicate optimal procurement practices and tools.

• Create, execute, and sustain the supplier risk management program.

• Develop and oversee supplier relationship management initiatives.

• Propel procurement governance, policies, procedures, and tools.

• Facilitate the effective and efficient utilization of Strategic Sourcing Department procedures and operational tools.

• Educate, train, influence, and promote consistent adoption of best practices across operational teams.

• Assist in the successful execution of business strategies and procurement performance objectives.

• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks within the supplier network.

• Enhance supply chain resilience through risk mitigation strategies.

• Create supplier relationship management guidelines encompassing evaluation, selection, risk assessment, quality, performance, and offboarding.

• Design, implement, execute, and maintain procurement processes and supporting tools.

• Establish metrics to assess procurement effectiveness.

• Formulate strategic plans for the adoption, enhancement, and development of procurement technology.

• Oversee the development of procurement policies, procedures, SOPs, and operational guidelines.

• Create and deliver training programs for procurement and operations teams.

• Standardize and unify procurement practices, policies, and compliance reporting.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

• MBA is preferred.

• Over 10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or a related field.

• Experience in leading the implementation of procurement processes and tools.

• Ability to lead through influence.

• Proven success in delivering measurable results within a matrix organization.

• Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and support systems.

• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a collaborative mindset.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to prioritize multiple projects.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Certifications such as CPSM or PMP are preferred but not mandatory.

• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
