
Senior Manager, Process Improvement – DSD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Take charge of developing and maintaining store-level Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training resources for Direct Store Delivery (DSD) receiving, vendor management, and scanning compliance.
• Collaborate with District Managers and Regional Directors to enhance store operations and address field feedback and escalations.
• Facilitate resolutions through enhancements in processes or training.
• Perform store visits and utilize data tools to verify vendor compliance with service standards.
• Ensure that stores are equipped with the necessary resources and training to implement DSD scanning protocols.
• Examine store-level scanning data to uphold process integrity and pinpoint systemic challenges.
• Leverage field feedback and vendor tracking tools to assess vendor performance.
• Report discrepancies between the vendor activities reported and the actual experiences within stores to the DSD Director.
• Champion the interests of stores during system design and process modifications.
• Guarantee that new DSD requirements do not impose excessive labor or operational complexities on store teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, retail operations, supply chain, industrial engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in retail operations, direct-store-delivery, vendor management, process enhancement, or similar enterprise operations fields.
• Proven track record of successfully leading complex, multi-site projects that enhance store execution, vendor performance, scanning compliance, productivity, service levels, or cost efficiency.
• Established capability to translate enterprise strategies into scalable store processes, operating standards, SOPs, training resources, and execution routines.
• In-depth knowledge of DSD receiving, vendor service expectations, store operations, scanning, compliance processes, and field execution.
• Experience in collaborating with senior leaders, District Managers, Regional Directors, IT, Supply Chain, Merchandising, and external vendors.
• Proven experience in leading change management, communications, training, and adoption strategies within a distributed retail or field organization.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Advanced analytical skills, encompassing KPI development, trend analysis, root-cause investigation, process-gap assessment, and transforming operational data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, business intelligence and reporting tools, operational systems, and AI-driven productivity tools.
• Ability to utilize AI prompting responsibly to expedite analysis, documentation, and communication.
• Willingness to travel frequently to stores, field meetings, vendor locations, and other business sites.
