Senior Manager, Planning Systems Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Act as the intermediary between business finance users and the Business Technical Support team.

• Provide support for business systems and associated processes across Finance Functional Areas, Affiliates, and Sites.

• Manage and triage SAC application incidents.

• Function as a subject matter expert in business system operations and systems lifecycle activities.

• Oversee month-end close system processes, including data feeds, data validation, and incident resolution.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts in BPC, SAC, and AA Commercial Financial Planning and Analysis teams.

• Offer support to AA Global HQ, the US organization in Irvine, AA LATAM, and AA International as required.

• Deliver training and practical assistance for Financial Planning systems/templates to end users.

• Coordinate with Business and Technical Support Project Managers for SAC testing, data validation, and system launches.

• Manage communication, status meetings, and incident resolution during system deployments.

• Direct incident resolution and address user inquiries alongside project teams.

• Drive process optimization initiatives within the FP&A organization.

• Engage with SAC, BPC, BIP, and SAP systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology Systems or a related field.

• A minimum of 6+ years of relevant and progressive experience.

• 3–5 years of previous experience in a strategic or analytical capacity.

• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
