Senior Manager, Observational Research – Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create study proposals leveraging real-world data to tackle essential business inquiries within cross-functional teams.

• Oversee the design, execution, and presentation of real-world evidence studies.

• Promote the sharing of real-world evidence through various channels, including presentations, publications, and training sessions.

• Collaborate on comprehensive evidence generation strategies for product teams.

• Contribute to the development of innovative analytical methods utilizing real-world data.

• Work alongside cross-functional colleagues to enhance the application of real-world evidence.

• Establish external partnerships to broaden the use of real-world data.

• Propel the advancement of innovative epidemiological techniques and analytical capabilities.

• Support the oncology therapeutic area and foster quick, informed decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Doctorate degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant research and scientific experience, OR a Master's degree with at least 6 years, OR a Bachelor's degree with 8 years, OR an Associate's degree with 10 years, OR a high school diploma/GED with 12 years of experience in data sciences and scientific roles.

• A preferred Doctorate degree in epidemiology or a related field with a strong emphasis on observational research.

• Proven experience in the ideation, design, execution, and delivery of oncology observational research studies.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in leading and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

• Research experience encompassing project planning and study management.

• Background in pharmaceutical and/or public health research settings.

• Familiarity with secondary data systems such as administrative claims, electronic health records, disease, and drug registries.

• Capability to conduct observational research and generate real-world evidence.
