Senior Manager, Network Contracting – Central Region

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead a team comprising both direct and indirect reports dedicated to negotiating, executing, and analyzing contracts with healthcare providers.

• Sustain and improve provider networks while achieving goals for accessibility, quality, and financial performance.

• Manage dispute resolution and settlement negotiations effectively.

• Work collaboratively with providers, hospitals, and health systems to attain favorable contracting results.

• Assist in initiatives aimed at cost savings and the expansion of provider networks within a specific market or region.

• Propel contracting strategies in partnership with Market Leaders.

• Negotiate intricate provider contracts, ensuring adherence to both organizational and regulatory standards.

• Supervise contracting managers, associates, and specialists through effective leadership, mentorship, performance evaluation, and professional development.

• Examine and assess provider contracts to pinpoint potential improvements and optimization opportunities.

• Establish and enforce contracting policies and workflows.

• Track network performance, costs, and provider satisfaction metrics, reporting findings to leadership.

• Address provider concerns related to contract terms, reimbursement, and participation in the network.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with healthcare providers.

• Adhere to relevant laws and regulations.

• Execute additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years' experience in healthcare network contracting, including the execution of contracts with health systems, hospitals, or national providers, along with provider relations or network management.

• At least 4 years of experience in managing complex Provider Network strategies and negotiating multifaceted contracts.

• A minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.

• Over 3 years of experience in the Health Insurance sector (Individual and/or Medicare Advantage) and/or the Healthcare industry.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience (additional points for advanced qualifications).
