This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Create a marketing strategy aimed at acquiring, engaging, and retaining members.
• Enhance renewal rates, minimize churn, and boost the lifetime value of members.
• Convert business objectives into lifecycle strategies and marketing initiatives.
• Develop and enhance scalable campaigns for onboarding, engagement, renewal, winback, and reactivation.
• Design and implement integrated campaigns across email, web, and various digital platforms.
• Oversee campaign calendars, timelines, and execution from initial concept to launch.
• Analyze trends in engagement and factors contributing to churn to guide strategy and priorities.
• Employ A/B testing and control groups to evaluate impact and enhance performance.
• Monitor and report on metrics related to retention, renewal, and campaign effectiveness.
• Create audience segmentation strategies based on behavior, tenure, and engagement levels.
• Provide targeted messaging throughout different lifecycle stages and enhance personalization.
• Work closely with the Membership team to enhance the overall member experience.
• Collaborate with Product and other departments on strategy, messaging, and execution.
• Assess and test new channels and tactics such as SMS and push notifications.
• Assist in the go-to-market strategy for new or evolving membership offerings.
• Supervise one or more team members.
• 7+ years of experience in marketing within B2C subscription or membership-based organizations, with a focus on retention and lifecycle marketing.
• Demonstrated success in enhancing retention and renewal rates while reducing churn.
• Extensive experience with marketing automation platforms; HubSpot is preferred.
• Capability to develop strategies and execute campaigns from start to finish.
• Data-driven approach with experience in utilizing analytics and testing to optimize outcomes.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to juggle multiple competing priorities.
• A Bachelor's degree in marketing is advantageous, though not mandatory.
• Experience in legal services or membership-based organizations, particularly bar associations, is a plus.
• Previous experience in people management is beneficial.
• Must possess authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
