This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +27 more states.
• Oversee the complete implementation and ongoing management of designated Medicare Advantage programs.
• Guarantee effective implementation, annual readiness for go-live, consistent delivery year-over-year, and operational efficiency.
• Create and oversee project plans, timelines, milestones, risk assessments, mitigation strategies, performance indicators, and resource allocation.
• Record business and eligibility requirements, member journeys, operational processes, and benefit comparisons.
• Facilitate regular project and implementation meetings with both internal teams and external partners.
• Deliver leadership and stakeholder updates, performance metrics, resolve issues, and ensure accountability for milestones.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to establish program requirements that align with benefit objectives, design, and member experience.
• Track program performance, member access, and utilization; pinpoint trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
• Address operational challenges related to eligibility, vendor processes, benefit configurations, and member experiences.
• Ensure adherence to CMS regulations, documented benefit intents, and internal policies; assist with audits, attestations, and regulatory inquiries.
• Act as a subject matter expert across various programs and competing timelines.
• Promote collaboration and teamwork across functions.
• Assist with bid-related activities, including strategic discussions, benefit data entry, validation, change tracking, and quality assurance.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as required.
• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with Medicare Advantage, encompassing supplemental benefits and regulations.
• Proven experience in managing projects and implementations.
• Experience leading intricate cross-functional initiatives that require collaboration and teamwork.
• Background in execution and delivery, including problem-solving, decision-making, and both verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in project/program management, including the development and maintenance of project plans.
• Ability to manage competing priorities within a matrixed organization.
• Experience working with vendors and external business partners.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is mandatory.
