Customer Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work closely with customer teams in developing genuine agent systems.

• Create and implement agents in partnership with customer engineers.

• Enhance reliability, evaluation techniques, monitoring, and scaling methods.

• Assist teams in transitioning from prototypes to robust systems.

• Educate and empower customers to become experts in Mastra.

• Disseminate patterns and best practices across various accounts.

• Transform recurring challenges faced by customers into open-source enhancements.

• Resolve reliability and performance issues within the core framework.

• Introduce new primitives and enhance existing ones.

• Elevate the quality standards across the codebase.

• Provide insights from production to influence roadmap direction.

• Engage in interviews with recruiters, hiring managers, peers, and for take-home projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in building and operating AI systems in a production environment.

• Capability to transition from implementation specifics to a system-wide perspective.

• Skill in recognizing patterns among isolated issues.

• Strong emphasis on developer ergonomics.

• Comfort with taking ownership over a wide-ranging scope.

• Ability to navigate between hands-on collaboration with customers and foundational platform design.

• Proficiency in TypeScript.

• Experience with AI agents and agent infrastructure.

• Submission of a resume is mandatory.

• Must be able to provide a project link, such as a repository, demo, talk, blog post, or README.
