Senior Manager, LOA and Accommodations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage the comprehensive leave and accommodations function.

• Create programs and ensure adherence to compliance standards.

• Oversee the entire leave lifecycle from initial intake to return-to-work.

• Manage the ADA interactive process from start to finish.

• Supervise a Leave of Absence Specialist.

• Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, Legal, and HR Business Partners.

• Generate reports and analytics that cover trends, costs, and compliance health.

• Lead relationships and transitions with carriers and vendors.

• Oversee system integrations and leave workflows in UKG and ADP.

• Manage employee interactions and case management throughout the process.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in LOA and accommodations.

• At least 2 years of experience in leadership roles or program management.

• Extensive knowledge of FMLA, ADA/ADAAA, PWFA, and multi-state leave laws.

• Experience with California leave laws is highly preferred.

• Ability to manage complex and sensitive casework directly while establishing the function.

• Experience in managing third-party leave carriers and vendor transitions.

• Proficient in HRIS and leave case management systems.

• Prior experience with UKG or ADP is preferred.

• Possess sound judgment, discretion, and a genuine compassion for employees facing difficult situations.
