Senior Manager – Learning & Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee training programs for all hotel departments.

• Ensure that training materials are up-to-date, tailored to the property as necessary, consistent with brand standards, and compliant with regulations.

• Create and maintain onboarding resources that articulate Trailborn's service philosophy.

• Collaborate on the personnel aspects of hotel openings, rebranding efforts, and operational adjustments.

• Develop transition playbooks and act as the on-site training leader during transitions.

• Work with General Managers and department heads to identify skill gaps.

• Assess training effectiveness and provide reports on key metrics, including GSS Scores.

• Certify and mentor property-level trainers through a Train the Trainer initiative.

• Equip trainers with facilitation skills, coaching methods, and tools for independent training execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in training, talent development, or organizational effectiveness.

• Proven ability to create and deliver training programs across multiple properties or sites.

• Flexibility and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to various U.S. hotel locations.

• A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Human Resources, Education, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools is preferred.
