Senior Manager – Last Mile Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance for home delivery services catering to multiple clients and field operations.

• Foster positive and ongoing relationships with external customers, location managers, and operators.

• Generate high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Ensure adherence to specified contract metrics.

• Uphold exceptional standards for operational activities.

• Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate staff members.

• Build a robust contractor base team.

• Direct and mentor front-line management personnel.

• Oversee contract drivers operating up to 7 days per week across various regional locations.

• Cultivate customer relationships to drive continuous operational improvements.

• Manage profit and loss (P&L) statements.

• Collaborate with the national sales team to explore new growth opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of relevant work or military experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Project.

• Preferred experience in profit and loss (P&L) management.

• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills, with a track record of effectively supervising, coaching, and influencing employees preferred.

• Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills preferred.

• Capability to manage contract drivers operating up to 7 days per week across multiple regional locations.

• May be required to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test after receiving a conditional offer.
