Senior Manager, Last Mile Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Ensure adherence to designated contract metrics

• Uphold exceptional standards for all operational functions

• Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate staff efficiently; establish a contractor base team

• Provide direction and support to frontline management personnel

• Supervise contract drivers operating up to 7 days a week across various regional sites

• Cultivate relationships with customers to promote ongoing operational enhancements

• Oversee profit and loss (P&L) management

• Collaborate with the national sales team to explore new growth opportunities

• Offer assistance to home delivery services for multiple clients and field operations

• Foster positive and continuous relationships with external customers, location managers, and operators

• Drive positive customer satisfaction outcomes

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work or military experience

• 5 years of operational experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Project)

• Supervisory experience in a transportation or supply chain setting

• Experience managing profit and loss (P&L)

• Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills with a history of effectively supervising, coaching, and influencing staff

• Strong analytical, communication, and time management capabilities

• May be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test following a conditional offer
