This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and sustain the enterprise application portfolio, encompassing validated GxP/clinical systems and general enterprise IT applications.
• Take ownership of system uptime, performance, configuration, and issue resolution for supported applications.
• Lead initiatives for system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and decommissions.
• Coordinate computer system validation activities with the Quality team as necessary.
• Uphold application governance, which includes change control, access management, data integrity, and system documentation.
• Collaborate with Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Finance, and HR teams to collect requirements and prioritize the applications roadmap.
• Convert business needs into system solutions and serve as the intermediary between IT and business stakeholders.
• Work together with Roivant IT on shared platforms, standards, and enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Manage and mentor a team of application analysts and administrators.
• Oversee vendor relationships and ensure vendors meet performance and compliance obligations.
• Monitor system performance and incident trends, driving root-cause analysis and process enhancements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, eliminate redundant tools, and enhance system efficiency.
• Execute IT project management duties, including planning, tracking, and delivering applications initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
• 8+ years of experience in IT applications, with at least 2 years in a management or team-lead role.
• Practical experience managing GxP/validated systems (e.g., Veeva Vault, BOX) within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated life sciences settings.
• Experience in managing general enterprise IT applications (ITSM, M365/collaboration platforms).
• Solid understanding of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and computer system validation (CSV) practices.
• Proven experience in managing vendors, budgets, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proven track record in managing AI or machine learning projects, including model validation and responsible AI/data governance principles.
• Proficient in using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini.
• Capability to build trusted working relationships across Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and HR.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and regulated environment.
• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset regarding data integrity, documentation, and troubleshooting.
