Senior Manager, Identity and Access Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Responsible for provisioning, authenticating, and securing identities for users, machines, and administrators.

• Ensure the appropriate level of access is granted in the right context and at the right time.

• Create and implement a comprehensive identity and access management security strategy.

• Collaborate with security, technology, and business teams.

• Lead the Identity and Access Management team while overseeing IAM technologies and services.

• Develop IAM metrics and utilize them to drive enhancements.

• Establish and refine Identity and Access Governance and Privileged Access Management security standards and guidelines.

• Create and enhance machine identity and secrets management standards and guidelines.

• Assess and report on compliance with established security standards.

• Promote the adoption of security standards through technology collaborations, design and implementation, and process enhancements.

• Architect, design, build, implement, and manage IAM, PAM, IGA, and Secrets Management solutions.

• Design and advise on secure machine identity and secrets management patterns for modern applications and cloud environments.

• Develop and implement privileged access architecture and strategies aimed at reducing security risks.

• Formulate and execute an IGA strategy for automated access provisioning, maintenance, and de-provisioning.

• Partner with product and technology teams to create secrets management solutions.

• Develop and manage user account lifecycle processes, including authentication, authorization, and secrets management.

• Work alongside Security Operations on identity monitoring and response capabilities.

• Provide 24/7 tier 2/3 support for identity technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Master’s degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in identity and access management.

• At least 3 years in a leadership role within security operations.

• Experience in securing Microsoft 365 environments.

• Strong expertise in privileged access management within hybrid on-premises/cloud environments, ideally in a technology/SaaS organization.

• Extensive experience in user lifecycle automation and access provisioning/validation automation using modern IGA tools.

• Experience collaborating with product and platform teams on secrets management for application development and deployment.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
