This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and articulate a strategic vision for the Identity and Access Management (IAM) program.
• Oversee IAM strategy and daily operations related to corporate, non-human, cloud, and customer identities.
• Spearhead zero trust architecture, privileged access management, identity governance, single sign-on/multi-factor authentication, and role-based access controls.
• Manage and govern various Identity Provider instances, ensuring effective integration, consolidation, and lifecycle management.
• Direct the implementation of Infrastructure-as-Code and oversee the administration of Just-In-Time access management tools.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a team consisting of 5–7 direct reports.
• Collaborate with engineering, security architecture, compliance, HR, IT, and other business stakeholders.
• Own IAM audit and compliance documentation for HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, and other regulatory standards.
• Report on the health, risk, progress, and audit status of the IAM program to security leadership, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) committees, executives, and board-level committees.
• Establish control over cloud, corporate, non-human, and customer identities.
• Guide IAM integration efforts during mergers or organizational changes.
• Automate processes for access reviews, onboarding, offboarding, and role transfers.
• Oversee IAM components of new HRIS deployments.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Over 10 years of experience in identity and access management, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated experience in managing teams within IAM or broader security organizations.
• Comprehensive ownership of IAM strategy, operations, audit results, and regulatory compliance.
• Extensive hands-on experience with corporate/workforce, non-human/machine, cloud, and customer identities.
• Proven track record of managing and consolidating multiple Identity Provider instances such as Okta, Entra ID, and Ping Identity.
• Experience in designing and implementing Infrastructure-as-Code provisioning and cloud Just-In-Time access models.
• Background in leading IAM initiatives during mergers, acquisitions, or significant organizational changes.
• Proficient in automating access reviews, onboarding/offboarding, and role transfers.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, and audit requirements in regulated environments.
• Experience collaborating with HR and IT on enterprise system implementations like HRIS.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills at the executive level.
• Background in healthcare or another highly regulated sector is advantageous.
• CISSP certification is mandatory.
• CISM, CISA, or CCISO certifications are preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience is required.
• An advanced degree (MS or MBA) is a plus.
• Familiarity with zero trust architecture frameworks is preferred.
• Experience managing globally distributed teams, including offshore resources, is advantageous.
• Ability to work across different time zones.

• Annual base salary ranging from $186,000 to $202,000.
