Senior Manager, Financial Services – Trading Initiatives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead the execution of NCPG's Financial Services & Trading Initiative work plan and grant deliverables.

• Develop and oversee project timelines, objectives, milestones, and performance metrics.

• Coordinate activities related to the initiative across various NCPG departments and external partners.

• Stay informed about advancements in financial trading, prediction markets, fintech, and consumer protection.

• Prepare regular progress reports and provide recommendations for organizational leadership.

• Establish and nurture relationships with industry participants, regulators, researchers, consumer advocates, public health professionals, and state affiliates.

• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, advisory groups, webinars, and roundtable discussions.

• Represent NCPG at conferences, industry gatherings, and educational events.

• Promote membership growth and engagement within NCPG's Financial Services & Trading sector.

• Spearhead the development of educational resources, guidance documents, and materials for consumer awareness.

• Incorporate Financial Services & Trading content into conferences, webinars, publications, and member resources.

• Formulate best practices and educational recommendations that encourage responsible participation and consumer protection.

• Lead outreach initiatives to raise awareness of trader health and risks related to financial harm.

• Build and manage partnerships with researchers and academic institutions.

• Monitor and summarize new research on behavioral risk, consumer behavior, prediction markets, and trading environments.

• Oversee data collection, grant reporting, and program evaluation activities.

• Identify opportunities to enhance research and evidence-based programming.

• Lead the planning and execution of the Financial Services & Trading Summit.

• Coordinate speaker engagement, content creation, stakeholder outreach, and event logistics.

• Promote Financial Services & Trading programming during NCPG conferences and educational events.

• Monitor initiative budgets, contracts, and project expenditures.

• Ensure all grant reporting requirements and performance objectives are met.

• Track outcomes and maintain documentation that supports program impact.

• Identify future funding and sustainability opportunities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, policy, finance, nonprofit management, behavioral health, communications, or a related field.

• 5–7 years of professional experience in nonprofit organizations, associations, public health, advocacy, or other mission-driven settings.

• Experience managing grant-funded programs, strategic initiatives, partnerships, or multi-stakeholder projects.

• Proven ability to engage and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.

• Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

• Capacity to work independently and effectively in a remote work environment.

• Availability for approximately 15–20% travel.

• Minimum six hours of overlap with standard East Coast business hours.

• Preferred: Experience with membership-based nonprofit organizations or professional associations.

• Preferred: Background in financial services, fintech, trading platforms, prediction markets, cryptocurrency, market regulation, or consumer protection.

• Preferred: Experience in planning conferences, educational programs, webinars, or stakeholder meetings.

• Preferred: Experience collaborating with researchers, policymakers, or regulatory agencies.

• Preferred: Familiarity with responsible gambling, behavioral health, or public health strategies for prevention and harm reduction.
