This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the preparation and distribution of financial statements adhering to regulatory standards and company policies.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
• Support external audits as needed.
• Implement best practices for financial disclosure.
• Design, create, test, and maintain custom Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and standard Workday reports utilizing calculated fields and Business Objects.
• Test, review, and update existing reports during Workday’s bi-annual updates.
• Create and oversee operational dashboards, Discovery Boards, and Report-as-a-Service (RaaS) outputs.
• Collaborate with the Financial Analyst to monitor key performance indicators for leadership.
• Prepare and update templates for financial statements.
• Supervise internal financial reporting processes and establish controls.
• Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual reports.
• Engage in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
• Work with internal teams to collect report parameters.
• Drive process enhancements in financial reporting systems and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, business, or a relevant field.
• 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or auditing roles.
• Practical experience in constructing reports using Workday Report Writer, including calculated fields and advanced, matrix, and composite reports.
• Workday Report Writer Certification or a commitment to successfully complete a Workday Report Writing proficiency assessment during the interview process.
• In-depth knowledge of Workday Finance.
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, including Adaptive Dashboards, HTML Reports, and OfficeConnect reporting packages is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Workday Dashboards, Scorecards, and Workday Hubs is preferred.
• Experience in gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into reporting solutions.
• Working knowledge of data integration/ETL concepts and reporting governance practices.
• Understanding of GAAP.
• Non-profit experience is highly preferred.
• Strong skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analytics.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Must be available to work within Pacific Time core business hours.
