This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership and execute intricate components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures, which include journal entries, accruals, estimates, and reconciliations.
• Guarantee the accuracy, completeness, and GAAP compliance of all financial statements and supporting schedules, particularly in healthcare revenue reporting.
• Analyze general ledger activity to detect unusual trends, variances, or risks and proactively address any issues.
• Collaborate with FP&A and finance leadership to align actual outcomes with budget and forecast reporting.
• Conduct variance analysis and trend analysis across income statement and balance sheet accounts.
• Act as a financial and accounting resource for leadership by assisting with ad hoc reporting and analytical requests.
• Facilitate annual financial statement audits and provide necessary supporting schedules, analyses, and audit documentation.
• Supervise the creation of dashboards, reporting infrastructure, and advanced analytic models to bolster financial and operational decision-making.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance across all enterprise financial and operational data sources.
• Lead the deployment and usage of Power BI and related business intelligence tools within the Controller’s Office.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to embed AI capabilities into current business processes.
• Assist in assessing the use of large language models (LLMs) and AI-enabled technologies to enhance financial analytics, workflow efficiency, and reporting capabilities.
• Promote the adoption of AI solutions within the Controller’s Office, including training, governance, change management, and operational integration.
• Work alongside operational leaders, finance teams, revenue cycle teams, and Technology Digital Solutions (TDS) to enhance reporting accuracy and operational insights.
• Mentor and support accounting and finance personnel by providing guidance on financial reporting, analytics, and systems-related initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or Accounting.
• A minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible and directly relevant work experience, including prior management responsibilities.
• In-depth understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and healthcare accounting principles.
• Capability to execute and oversee complex financial closing and reporting processes.
• Experience in developing dashboards, reporting infrastructures, and advanced analytical models.
• Proficiency in Power BI and familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools.
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence tools, automation technologies, and large language models (LLMs).
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to integrate AI capabilities into operational workflows.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems expertise.
