Senior Manager, Fabrication & Rebar Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +11 more states.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the business development of Fabrication and Rebar production and operations throughout the organization on a national scale.

• Monitor and uphold efficiency in all fabrication operations.

• Supervise fabrication and quality control processes across the organization.

• Collaborate closely with Regional and District Operations Managers, Branch Managers, Warehouse Managers, and regional Fabrication Managers.

• Oversee fabrication operations, including production, budgeting, and other financial performance objectives.

• Develop and assess production and quality standards and procedures for fabrication.

• Leverage knowledge of industry and competitive trends that influence production scope on fabrication processes.

• Ensure the implementation of safety, health, and regulatory compliance at all Fabrication and Rebar locations.

• Manage inventory levels throughout the business and during the production process.

• Recruit, train, and cultivate the development of regional Fabrication managers.

• Typically involves overnight travel ranging from 20% to 50% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires a BS/BA in a relevant field.

• Generally requires 7+ years of experience in a related area.

• Certification may be required.

• An advanced degree may compensate for less experience in certain disciplines.

• Familiarity with the fabrication or construction industry is preferred.

• Experience managing multiple sites in a manufacturing or production setting.

• Proficient in utilizing financial indicators to assess performance and costs.
