This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement comprehensive, multi-channel marketing strategies for People Inc.’s festivals and events.
• Enhance attendance, increase ticket revenue, and foster brand growth.
• Oversee marketing strategy, planning, budgeting, and execution for the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, Charleston, and other events.
• Establish event positioning, attendee personas, and customer profiles.
• Manage event brands and cultivate sustained consumer demand.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders within a complex, matrixed organization.
• Coordinate the utilization of People Inc. marketing channels.
• Build partnerships with local businesses, community leaders, tourism partners, and cultural organizations.
• Manage direct mail, paid social campaigns, grassroots marketing, programmatic, search, and other paid channels.
• Collaborate with editorial staff to produce event assets, highlight milestones, and craft event narratives.
• Develop social media schedules, monitor editorial impact, and oversee event-specific social media accounts.
• Evaluate marketing campaigns, attendance forecasts, and event audience demographics.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 7+ years of direct-to-consumer marketing experience, ideally within the events/festivals sector.
• Strong communication abilities for effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in paid social and media purchasing.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong project management skills with the capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Familiarity with data-driven KPIs, tracking, and success reporting.
• Proficient in Meta Business Suite, Jira, Google Suite, social automation tools, and Airtable.
• Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time.
