Senior Manager, Design to Value

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Lead product and portfolio enhancement initiatives that align with Hershey’s enterprise strategy and long-term value objectives.

• Convert strategic priorities into actionable initiatives, roadmaps, and execution plans.

• Organize initiatives to achieve measurable financial and operational results.

• Oversee Design to Value sprint initiatives and capability development.

• Conduct consumer and commercial analysis to identify pain points and prioritize solutions.

• Facilitate cross-functional workshops with executive leadership.

• Bridge connections between Strategy, Marketing, R&D, and Commercial teams.

• Influence results without direct authority by aligning stakeholders with enterprise values and priorities.

• Prepare decision-making materials for executive leaders, distilling complex trade-offs and recommendations.

• Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, and Strategy teams to assess consumer and business value creation.

• Identify potential risks to value delivery and implement corrective measures.

• Manage governance and reporting, including scorecards and Steering Committee documentation.

• Act as a practitioner and mentor in Design to Value methodologies, tools, and practices.

• Assist in training, enablement, and change management efforts.

• Document lessons learned to enhance how Hershey designs and scales capabilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7–10 years of experience in commercial, marketing, or strategy roles within consumer packaged goods (CPG) or consulting is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in developing value cases and initiatives that have significant financial, productivity, or capability impact.

• Proven track record of leading initiatives characterized by high ambiguity and shifting priorities that require structured problem-solving.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to translate strategic concepts into actionable execution.

• Established ability to influence without direct authority.

• Proven experience in managing senior cross-functional stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Engineering is required.

• Master’s in Business Administration is preferred.
