Senior Manager, Design Technology – AEC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Supervise the creation of adaptive, context-aware UI components that are scalable across agentic workflows.

• Create and uphold a modular framework that promotes personalized and agent-assisted user experiences.

• Develop scalable processes that accelerate the transition from prototype to deployable solutions.

• Foster collaborative relationships and showcase value to stakeholders for the adoption of framework components, processes, and best practices.

• Assemble and cultivate a strong team of UX Engineers, Motion Designers, and Architects.

• Spearhead the transition towards AI-enhanced design development.

• Establish a library of functional components to enhance consistency, reduce redundancy, and improve quality of experience at scale.

• Report directly to the Sr. Director, Design Frameworks, AEC.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience leading front-end or full-stack development teams.

• At least 12 years of relevant experience.

• Proven experience in creating and maintaining reusable UI components and component libraries.

• Must have hands-on experience utilizing Claude Code, Gemini Code Assist, or similar LLM-based coding agents to implement complex features.

• Extensive expertise in React Hooks, state management (Zustand, Redux, or Context), and component-driven design.

• Experience in leading the architecture and development of large-scale web applications.

• Knowledge of performance optimization, accessibility, responsive design, and contemporary UI engineering practices.

• Proficient in software development practices, including version control, testing, and debugging.

• Preferred: Experience in building and maintaining component libraries.

• Preferred: Experience in developing agentic or AI-assisted interaction components.

• Preferred: Experience in leading design systems that cater to complex workflows.

• Preferred: Experience in mentoring front-end engineers and enhancing technical skills within a team.

• Preferred: Experience in establishing cross-organizational methodologies and practices.
