This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Lead and manage a small Deal Desk team while actively engaging in strategic and complex commercial opportunities.
• Oversee the Deal Desk function in collaboration with Sales, Finance, Legal, Revenue Operations, Product, and Billing.
• Develop commercial solutions encompassing pricing, contract terms, payment structures, and packaging.
• Create and enhance approval frameworks, pricing guidelines, commercial policies, and deal governance.
• Manage the comprehensive deal approval process throughout Salesforce, CPQ, contracting, and downstream financial systems.
• Promote automation and process enhancements across Deal Desk workflows, reporting, and quote-to-cash operations.
• Utilize data to detect trends, enhance operational performance, and guide commercial decision-making.
• Construct scalable playbooks, documentation, and enablement resources for Deal Desk operations.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Strategic Finance, Commercial Operations, or a similar field.
• Proven experience in managing complex commercial transactions within a high-growth technology environment.
• Extensive knowledge in pricing, deal structuring, contracting, approvals, and the quote-to-cash process.
• Experience collaborating directly with Sales leadership on intricate enterprise deals and non-standard commercial structures.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or mentor high-performing team members while remaining actively involved in operations.
• Strong commercial insight, analytical problem-solving abilities, and a systems-oriented approach.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Regular use of AI tools as a fundamental part of daily tasks.
• Practical experience utilizing tools like Claude Code to automate workflows, expedite analysis, and enhance decision-making.
