Senior Manager, Data Strategy & Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a strategic analytics partner throughout the organization.

• Convert complex data into actionable insights that inform decision-making across Credit, Operations, Marketing, Product, and Finance.

• Create and automate analytical workflows using Python and/or R, with code managed via GitHub.

• Design, construct, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports that offer visibility into essential business metrics.

• Collaborate with Data Engineering to develop and enhance Databricks data workflows that support reporting and analytics.

• Perform ad hoc analyses to address strategic business inquiries and deliver findings with clear recommendations to leadership.

• Oversee data quality and proactively detect anomalies or issues in key metrics.

• Formulate and document analytical methodologies.

• Assess opportunities to optimize processes and implement improved approaches that boost efficiency and scalability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a similar field, preferably in financial services or FinTech.

• Strong SQL expertise with experience querying cloud data warehouses like Snowflake.

• Proficiency in Tableau or equivalent visualization tools, including a portfolio of dashboards designed for business users.

• Working knowledge of Python and/or R for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.

• Familiarity with Databricks, Spark, or comparable distributed computing platforms.

• Experience utilizing Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analyses into coherent narratives for varied audiences.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift and ambiguity is prevalent.

• Bonus: Experience in consumer lending, credit risk modeling, or the personal loan sector.

• Bonus: Enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools and generative AI to enhance analytics workflows, automate processes, or expedite insight generation.
