This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Lead the standardization of registry practices across the healthcare system.
• Oversee the management and submission of clinical data to national registries and databases.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of registry data with established requirements.
• Analyze registry data and reports to uncover opportunities for improvement and benchmark performance.
• Drive performance improvement initiatives and formulate quality enhancement plans.
• Lead the development of Enterprise Trauma data standards while managing relationships with Trauma Medical Directors and program leaders.
• Promote enterprise centralization, consistent training, and quality assurance practices.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions and set annual quality improvement objectives.
• Manage registry personnel, encompassing hiring, performance evaluations, salary administration, development, and training.
• Create data entry and quality standards.
• Supervise patient identification processes for registry inclusion.
• Ensure adherence to registry protocols and the protection of patient PHI.
• Oversee the submission and transmission of completed data.
• Establish workflows for data collection and provide reports and benchmarks.
• Facilitate meetings and discussions among leadership.
• Set and monitor team goals, service levels, and performance standards.
• Implement process enhancements and guide change management initiatives.
• Support hiring, onboarding, employee development, and retention strategies.
• Encourage cross-training and collaboration across facilities, specialties, and operational areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare, or a related field.
• Seven years of progressive experience in informatics.
• Proven expertise in information technology or informatics.
• Knowledge of data abstraction, data analysis, and research methodologies.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Must reside in Northeast Ohio.
• Ability to comply with the annual influenza prevention program or secure an approved exemption.
• Capability to complete post-offer controlled-substance testing.
• Remote work available from Monday to Friday.
• 10% travel required within Ohio.
• Participation in the annual influenza vaccination program or approved exemption.
