This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist GuidePoint Security’s Northeast region as a member of the NE DevSecOps team.
• Collaborate with the NE AI and AppSec teams on the assessment and governance framework for agentic AI harnesses.
• Establish and execute evaluation frameworks to measure accuracy, reliability, and consistency.
• Develop and conduct structured evaluations to identify regressions, output drift, and behavioral degradation.
• Create and maintain benchmark datasets and ground-truth corpora.
• Examine evaluation outcomes, pinpoint failure modes, and advocate for iterative enhancements.
• Investigate and implement prompt evaluation techniques and LLM benchmarking strategies.
• Equip agentic harnesses with telemetry for latency, token utilization, error rates, and output quality.
• Analyze telemetry data, detect anomalies, and provide actionable insights for tuning.
• Assist in model and prompt tuning; document modifications and assess impact.
• Contribute to an internal AI governance pipeline, encompassing standards, output logging, quality flags, and audit trails.
• Record governance procedures, evaluation methods, and tuning decisions in version-controlled formats.
• Engage in limited client-facing interactions under mentorship.
• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated with a degree or significant coursework in data science, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline (required).
• Proficient in or possess a strong interest in Python.
• Experience with data manipulation libraries (pandas, numpy) or LLM APIs.
• A genuine curiosity about large language models, agentic systems, and practical AI applications.
• Strong analytical skills and effective written communication abilities.
• Technical proficiency and comfort with ambiguity.
• Access to a personal computing device and high-speed internet during work hours.
• Must reside within the United States for the duration of the internship.
• Availability to work 25–29 hours per week, Monday–Friday, aligned with the Eastern Time Zone.
• Preference for Eastern/Central time zone candidates.
• Not available to candidates residing in Alaska, California, Hawaii, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Washington, or Wyoming.
• Paid internship.
