Senior Manager, Content Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the content strategy and manage the editorial calendar for the blog, resource center, research reports, and executive thought leadership initiatives.

• Spearhead the original research program, which includes the State of Workspace Security report series, in collaboration with Threat Research.

• Write and edit various materials, including research reports, technical blog posts, category point-of-view articles, website copy, video scripts, and campaign content.

• Manage the website's content framework and optimize it for answer-engine performance; organize content so that AI search engines can reference Material effectively.

• Monitor our market share against competitors.

• Shape the category narrative in conjunction with product marketing and translate positioning into published arguments.

• Develop content-driven campaigns in collaboration with demand generation, delivering conversion-focused materials under a defined service level agreement (SLA).

• Collaborate with founders, engineers, and security researchers to gather insights and uphold technical credibility.

• Evaluate pipeline influence, citation share, and engagement metrics, while phasing out ineffective content.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in content marketing, editorial work, tech journalism, or security research writing.

• Significant experience in B2B, security, or infrastructure sectors.

• Outstanding writing and editing abilities, with a portfolio that includes long-form research, reporting, technical explanations, and short-form content.

• Proven experience in transforming datasets, telemetry, or survey research into published works that have received media coverage and citations.

• Adequate security knowledge to conduct interviews with detection engineers and write credibly for Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) audiences.

• Familiarity with SEO practices and hands-on experience with Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Geographic Engine Optimization (GEO).

• Experience in managing a content function from start to finish: strategy formulation, calendar management, production, review, publication, distribution, and performance measurement.

• Well-formed opinions on what constitutes engaging security content, backed by demonstrated work.

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
