This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Direct the Compliance and Audit team in the initiation, review, conclusion, and reporting of FCRA permissible purpose audits concerning First Advantage’s clientele.

• Manage, coordinate, and supervise incoming vendor compliance audits from a range of First Advantage vendors, accreditors, and, on occasion, regulators.

• Engage in the intake, evaluation, and completion of due diligence questionnaires associated with First Advantage’s compliance and privacy controls.

• Oversee and take part in the execution and reporting of the Legal and Compliance aspects of First Advantage’s Third-Party Risk Vendor Management program.

• Assist with other compliance initiatives as necessary, including product and SOP reviews, policy formulation and assessment, line of business audits, and training programs.

• Lead a small team of audit professionals.

• Concentrate on operational legal and compliance functions; the Legal department maintains final authority over legal analysis, risk evaluation, and policy decisions.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in legal operations, compliance, audits, or a related field, ideally at a Consumer Reporting Agency.

• Demonstrated experience in leading audit functions, which may encompass Third-Party Risk Management, Due Diligence, and certification audits.

• Preferred experience in operational policy development and compliance.

• Excellent written communication skills, with the capability to simplify complex regulatory information for non-legal stakeholders and present audit results to leadership committees.

• Proven ability to manage diverse inputs, deadlines, and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Required familiarity with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

• Preferred knowledge of Data Privacy Laws (including CCPA, HIPAA, etc.) and the Federal Corrupt Practices Act.
