This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Establish and implement a regulatory strategy aligned with the company's objectives.
• Oversee the Commercial & Key Account Management teams for M&I clients.
• Drive business development initiatives to enhance top-line growth.
• Achieve a top-line growth target of 10% (approximately £2m by 2027).
• Acquire “A & B” ICP customers, including major retailers and manufacturers.
• Boost revenue per client and broaden the range of services utilized by each account.
• Revamp the team's operational methods by defining a clear structure, sales processes, and accountability.
• Lead a commercially-oriented, results-driven team.
• Secure new business from high-potential market segments.
• Manage client relationships and establish Ashbury as a key strategic partner.
• Gain access to senior decision-makers.
• Develop and execute Ashbury’s regulatory management strategy in accordance with business objectives.
• Direct and enhance the business plan for Horizon Scanning Management.
• Recognize legislative changes and guidance for key countries, and create training and implementation plans for the organization.
• Lead Knowledge Management and Knowledge Sharing initiatives.
• Drive the development of Ashbury as a recognized thought leader in the regulatory landscape.
• Monitor shifts in industry best practices and their application to ensure standards are upheld for technical and regulatory teams.
• Represent Ashbury at relevant industry events, including high-level regulatory affairs discussions.
• Facilitate client conversations regarding regulatory matters to advance their regulatory agendas.
• Ensure that client services are executed in accordance with commercial agreements and remain profitable.
• Identify new business opportunities and market segments for expansion.
• Implement efficiency strategies to enhance profitability.
• Ensure that contact matrices are incorporated in business plans for both current and prospective clients, ensuring they are actionable and measurable.
• Cultivate strong relationships across various functions and levels within key client organizations.
• Establish clear performance goals, KPIs, and targets for teams, departments, or projects.
• Assess individual and team performance.
• Proven experience in a senior regulatory affairs position.
• Several years of experience in food law, acquired in a commercial, enforcement, or policy-setting environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of UK & EU food regulations.
• Home-based position.
