Quality and Compliance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +23 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee the company's quality assurance and product testing initiatives.

• Set product quality benchmarks, testing protocols, specifications, and acceptance criteria.

• Coordinate testing activities with both domestic and international laboratories.

• Analyze test reports, convey findings, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for testing, certification, and compliance.

• Ensure adherence to relevant jewelry regulations, industry standards, and FTC guidelines.

• Assess product descriptions, labeling, packaging, and claims for accuracy and compliance.

• Keep track of regulatory changes and suggest necessary updates to processes.

• Research and assess new materials, stones, finishes, and components for product innovation.

• Manage prototype and material testing, providing recommendations for commercial application.

• Keep records of approved material and supplier specifications.

• Define quality expectations and inspection criteria for suppliers and manufacturing partners.

• Investigate quality concerns, determine root causes, and enact corrective measures.

• Assist with supplier onboarding, factory audits, and initiatives aimed at production quality.

• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to enhance product quality and consistency.

• Work closely with Product Development, Design, Sourcing, and Vendor Management teams throughout the product lifecycle.

• Ensure that quality and compliance requirements are integrated into product development and manufacturing processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must currently reside in one of the following states: TX, LA, MS, AL, FL, GA, SC, NC, VA, WV, TN, AR, OK, KS, MO, KY, OH, IN, MI, WI, IA, ND, SD, MT, WY, AZ, or UT.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, product testing, or supplier quality.

• Preferred experience in jewelry, accessories, consumer products, or related fields.

• Familiarity with laboratory testing, product compliance, and supplier quality processes.

• Experience collaborating with overseas manufacturers and testing laboratories.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.
