Senior Manager, Cloud and AI QA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead the strategies for software quality assurance, testing, and validation.

• Design and manage quality strategies along with risk-based testing methodologies that align with business goals.

• Supervise user acceptance testing, alpha testing, beta testing, and the resolution of defects.

• Provide quality oversight for software releases, encompassing testing progress, quality metrics, risks, defects, and remediation efforts.

• Promote the adoption of test automation, contemporary quality engineering practices, and collective accountability for quality.

• Define and execute quality assurance and validation strategies for emerging technologies and AI-driven capabilities.

• Ensure compliance of quality assurance processes with organizational standards, relevant regulations, and established quality frameworks.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and cross-functional teams to identify risks, set priorities, and enhance product quality.

• Evaluate application documentation, technical specifications, and vendor solutions, providing recommendations focused on quality.

• Manage effective vendor contract and sourcing administration.

• Develop and integrate quality metrics to assess effectiveness and uncover areas for improvement.

• Lead staffing, development, performance management, goal setting, and other managerial responsibilities for the team.

• Ensure that direct reports adhere to ethical business practices and the Company’s Code of Conduct.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 10 years of pertinent experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or quality engineering, including expertise in the relevant area.

• 5 years of experience in leadership or people management roles.

• Experience in supporting quality assurance for cloud-based applications and AI-driven solutions.

• Preferred experience with enterprise quality assurance programs in complex technology environments.

• Advanced understanding of software quality assurance, testing methodologies, validation practices, quality governance, and the software development lifecycle.

• Proficiency in evaluating quality metrics, testing outcomes, and risk indicators.

• Capability to lead quality modernization initiatives, including shift-left testing, test automation, and shared ownership of quality.

• Strong skills in leadership, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management.

• Ability to adjust quality approaches to accommodate emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk management abilities.

• Knowledge of automated testing tools, CI/CD practices, cloud technologies, APIs, integrations, and modern software development environments.
