This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with private equity clients and management teams of portfolio companies.
• Implement intricate accounting and finance optimization workstreams.
• Oversee assigned engagement responsibilities, ensuring timely delivery of accurate, structured, client-ready outputs.
• Utilize knowledge of U.S. GAAP and operational finance for financial reporting, improving the close process, ensuring audit readiness, and conducting operational analyses.
• Engage in client discussions and provide updates with well-prepared inputs and supporting documentation.
• Assist engagement leadership in coordinating, aligning planning efforts, and delivering essential outputs.
• Identify and relay risks, challenges, or delays, offering context and potential solutions.
• Organize and prioritize deliverables based on engagement timelines and objectives.
• Offer hands-on accounting and finance support, including post-acquisition integration, financial reporting, process improvements, audit readiness, working capital, cash flow, and operational finance analyses.
• Create analyses, schedules, and other precise, well-structured, client-ready deliverables.
• Aid engagement workplans by managing designated workstreams and adhering to timelines.
• Communicate effectively with Controllers, CFOs, and representatives from private equity firms.
• Attend client meetings, providing updates and supporting materials.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Required licenses must be obtained and maintained.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards for private entities.
• CPA or an equivalent professional certification is required.
• Proficient analytical, Excel, and financial modeling capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present financial data clearly.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to function effectively in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment.
• A Master’s degree in Accounting or an MBA with an undergraduate degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
• 9 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity is preferred.
• Previous experience in audit, advisory, financial consulting, or operational finance, ideally within a private equity-backed portfolio company context.
