Senior Manager, Cell Therapy Hub

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee each patient's journey and cell process throughout treatment.

• Facilitate patient cases within a designated geographic area, coordinating between medical professionals at sites and AstraZeneca's cross-functional teams.

• Act as a reliable single point of contact for site stakeholders to improve the cell therapy site experience.

• Manage patient vein-to-vein workflows independently from registration to infusion.

• Address patient issues and provide support for other regions when necessary.

• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, SMM, Supply Chain, Medical, IT, Commercial, and other cross-functional teams.

• Communicate essential patient-related information to site stakeholders with empathy.

• Work with Regional and Territory Operations Managers on site logistics, personnel identification, and training for access to digital platforms.

• Tackle and convey issues related to cellular starting materials, IMP, and supplies.

• Partner with QA, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain on OOS communication, product recalls, and related product issues.

• Create internal and external SOPs and materials pertaining to the AstraZeneca Cell Therapy Hub.

• Complete training for the Cell Therapy AZ Hub and proficiently navigate the Customer Portal, Telephony system, SOPs, work instructions, and business rules.

• Contribute to ongoing improvements and solutions to enhance the patient care experience.

• Maintain an understanding of Cell Therapy Hub goals, processes, regulatory standards, compliance, and procedures.

• Coordinate the rollout of process changes at assigned sites.

• Uphold the values of the AstraZeneca Cell Therapy Hub and perform various assigned tasks.

• Report to the Senior Director of the Cell Therapy Hub.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA or BS degree or equivalent experience.

• At least 4 years of experience in a Cell Therapy Program as a Research Coordinator, Nurse Coordinator, Apheresis Nurse, Cell Lab Professional, or Quality Manager within healthcare systems or regulatory environments.

• Capability to resolve site-facing challenges and navigate organizational complexities.

• An advanced degree in Life Sciences or Engineering (e.g., PharmD, NP, PA, Biomedical Engineer) is preferred.

• Experience with critical raw material suppliers or contract manufacturing organizations is advantageous.

• Ability to complete all training for the Cell Therapy AZ Hub and demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in navigating the AstraZeneca Cell Therapy Hub and its processes.

• Adherence to relevant SOPs, regulations, regulatory standards, and procedures.
