Senior Manager – Cell Therapy Hub

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee each patient's and cell's journey throughout the treatment process.

• Manage patient cases within a designated geographic region.

• Facilitate coordination between medical professionals at various sites and AstraZeneca's cross-functional teams during the vein-to-vein journey.

• Act as the primary point of contact for site stakeholders to improve the cell therapy site experience.

• Independently oversee patient vein-to-vein workflows from registration to infusion.

• Address patient issues and provide support for other regions as needed.

• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, SMM, Supply Chain, Medical, IT, Commercial, and other cross-functional teams.

• Relay critical patient-related information to site stakeholders.

• Organize site logistics, personnel identification and training, along with digital platform access.

• Resolve issues pertaining to cellular starting material, IMP, and supplies.

• Work together with QA, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain on OOS communication, product recalls, and product-related issues.

• Create internal and external SOPs and materials connected to the AZ Cell Therapy Hub.

• Drive continuous improvements and develop solutions to enhance the patient care experience.

• Manage the implementation of process changes at assigned sites.

• Stay informed about Cell Therapy Hub goals, processes, regulatory standards, compliance, and procedures.

• Exhibit a passion and commitment to patient care while upholding the values of the Cell Therapy Hub.

• Perform various tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• At least 4 years of experience in a Cell Therapy Program as a Research Coordinator, Nurse Coordinator, Apheresis Nurse, Cell Lab Professional, or Quality Manager in healthcare systems or regulatory settings.

• Capability to resolve site-facing challenges and navigate organizational complexity.

• An advanced degree in Life Sciences or Engineering (e.g., PharmD, NP, PA, Biomedical Engineer) is preferred.

• Experience with critical raw material suppliers or contract manufacturing organizations is preferred.

• Complete all training required for Cell Therapy AZ Hub and demonstrate proficiency in navigating AstraZeneca Cell Therapy Hub and its processes.

• Adhere to relevant SOPs and regulations.
